Our History:

The Urka family has been selling vehicles in Mason County for four generations. In the 1920’s, founder Matt Urka, started in the car business in Scottville as a mechanic, and then sold used vehicles before getting his Nash franchise in 1937. The Nash vehicles were the forerunner brand that became American Motors. In 1953 we changed from a Nash dealership to a Chevrolet dealership. In 1967 we added Buick and in 1976 added Cadillac when we moved to our present location. American Motors Jeep came in 1981, and later became Chrysler Jeep. Since 2008, we no longer sell new Jeeps or new Cadillacs. Our bow tie logo is a reminder of our “bow tie service”, much like a butler or waiter would provide, as well as the western bow tie that Robert Urka wore to work for over forty years.

In 2012 we completed our facility update in order to provide a better purchase and service experience. We invite you to come in and let us show you around.
